Welcome to the Montreal Gem and Mineral Club, which was founded in 1957, incorporated in 1964, and has served gem and mineral hobbyists in Montreal ever since. Learn more about our Club.
Membership
Rockhounds, jewelers, lapidaries, collectors and those who want to learn more about gemstones and minerals are welcome.
Children wishing to register must be 12 years of age or older and be accompanied by an adult.
Annual Show
We are mostly known for our annual gem and mineral show, The 64th Annual Show will be held at Palais des Congrès, Montreal on October 24,25, and 26 2025.
Showcasing beautiful gemstones, Minerals, and handcrafted jewelry with more than 100 dealers.

Workshop-Clubhouse
The Club also has a workshop-clubhouse, where members gather to practice stone-cutting and polishing, jewelry-making, or just to socialize and exchange information.
Field trips
We also organize rock-collecting field trips and host educational workshops on gemology, minerology, lapidary and jewelry topics.
